Santa Fe: 02

On the first evening of our visit, we went to a small but really cool restaurant called Café Pasqual's. It was very fancy food, and therefore, we left a little hungry.

This is one of my favorite photos I've ever taken.

Inside the lobby of the hotel, they had a gingerbread Who-Ville.

The hotel was pretty magnificent from the outside with all the luminaries.

We stopped at a dessert parlor to help us sleep.

After dessert we went to try on hats at this goofy leather shop.

Santa Fe: 01

Back in December, Alli's family took me along to see Santa Fe, and it was a great time. I will have installments of those pictures, because there a lot that I thought worthy of a post. These are from the first day and what we encountered as we walked through the most popular parts of the city. This gets me excited because Alli and I will be off on another trip tomorrow, to Zihuatanejo, Mexico!

After the day of walking we rested in the hotel lobby for a little while and had a drink. The hotel lobby also was a really interesting background for a few portraits I took, like the one of Mr. and Mrs. Bryan. Alli also grabbed the camera and took one of me. She's pretty good!
The church right next to our hotel during the day and at night.

Diamond in the Rough

Pass this house everyday on the way back from work. It kind of sticks out in the neighborhood because it's the only yard with really green grass and well kept paint. Reminds me of Savannah a little bit.

Sunny Days

Wednesday, March 23
It was perfect weather yesterday, but I spent it in a cold office. At least I got to drive with the windows down. These were taken with my phone.

Alli's Artwork

Alli painted me these three little paintings for my desk. I'm trying to decide if I will add something to them to jazz them up a bit or just leave them be. I think I'll cut out small pictures and paste them on. Any ideas for what I should put on there?

After Work Eatzi's

Egg Roll Hut

Monday, March 21
Back in Dallas and back to work. It's hilarious how the picture fits the title on this sign near work.

Three Hours to Waco

Sunday, March 20
The traffic back home was super terrible. It took 3 hours just to get to Waco from Austin, normally a 1.5 hour drive at most. It was a total of 5 hours in the car by the time we got home to Dallas.
We stopped at a Fazoli's.
Either the crowd at Fazoli's were High Schoolers, or college-aged kids are seeming really young to us these days.
We watched the UT/Arizona game in traffic, and since I was cheering against the Longhorns, the outcome made the drive a bit more bearable.

Adrienne and Chris

Saturday, March 19
My good friend from High School, Adrienne, got married this weekend at a church that's across the street from the UT Tower.

I like this shot because it looks like this is a movie about the guy with the nice haircut.
The happy couple.

On the way to the reception.
My friend Pan, looking GQ as always.
This was the best first dance I had ever seen. There were more dips and spins than I've attempted in my life. And to top it off, it was to Huey Lewis' "The Power of Love" which is featured in Back to the Future.

Daniel is next in line. April 23rd!
MY beautiful bride.
We went to the Flying Saucer afterward to hang.
