Bassin d’Apollon

Although not turned on, this fountain was still pretty sweet. You can imagine how the water might shoot out from the chariot and out of the shells the guys are blowing.

The Lawn at Versailles

Swag.

Statues lined the lawn. Supposed to look "classical" but were made during the French kings' rule.

The Palace Grounds

BAM. Palace.

Bright day. Look how far the grounds go! Daaaaaang.

The main fountain was turned off, but still amazing.

Being king had its perks I guess.

Versailles' Orangerie

Awesome arrangement.

Versailles' Orangerie. Love the swirl pattern.

It's a long drop down to the Orangerie. Living on the edge.

Some Views Outside

Everything about this place is in perfect order and thoughtfully laid out. Pretty inspiring.

More of the Palace

There were lots of tour groups in the Palace, and they had no rules. For example, in order to get Alli out of one of their shots, somebody coughed in her face. Gangster move.

NAPOLEON!

Pretty hallway you aren't allowed to walk in.

Hall of Mirrors

Before heading into the Hall of Mirrors, there's a wonderful view out the window.

The amazing Hall of Mirrors
Candles have been replaced with electric ones, but you still get the idea of how ridiculous this place once was.

Versailles' Chapel

Versailles' Chapel. Where Marie Antoinette married Louis XVI.

In each hallway in Versailles, there are many statues.

The upstairs portion of the chapel, where the royals would come for mass.

Entering Versailles

Early the next day, we got on a train that took us to Versailles. Great time spent at the expansive royal grounds.

After entering security, we stand in the courtyard.

Night Eiffel

The is starting to go down a little bit as we get to the other side of the Tower.

After dinner close by, we came back to see the Tower lit up.

And after a little while, the Tower put on a light show for us!

The Crazy Long Lines of the Eiffel Tower

Here's a line to walk up the stairs of the Tower.

A group of teenagers playing a game underneath the Eiffel Tower.

Here is the ticket booth for the elevators. Crazy long line.

More from the Eiffel Tower

Avenue de New York!
We had to use the restroom which was located on a boat in the Seine. While down there, I thought I'd take advantage of the view.

Now we are underneath the Eiffel Tower. Quite the structure.
