Palais de Chaillot

The Palais de Chaillot is across the Seine from the Eiffel Tower. The fountains are massive.

These idiot teenager boys were throwing their girl "friends" into the fountain. One sad girl is already sitting by the pool, while another is about to join her, being dragged on the top of the hill.

To the Eiffel Tower

From the Arc de Triomphe, we walked to the Trocadero and got a view of the tower.
Love this little guy.
Lots of people enjoying the view.
Paris was planned out for views.

Arc de Triomphe

It took us a really long time to figure out how to get over to the Arc, but we finally made it.
Armistice Treaty signed on 11 November 1918  to end WWI on the Western Front.

Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Made November 11 1920.

Some soldiers were gathered here for some reason, we thought they were going to do something, but they were taking too long to get organized.

Champs-Élysées

After the Louvre, we walked down the Champs-Élysées, looked at some shops and ended up at the Arc de Triomphe.

Leaving the Louvre

Cool view from inside the museum.

I carried a Joby tripod attached to my camera bag and got some good shots with it.
