Some Views Outside

Everything about this place is in perfect order and thoughtfully laid out. Pretty inspiring.

Champs-Élysées

After the Louvre, we walked down the Champs-Élysées, looked at some shops and ended up at the Arc de Triomphe.

To the Orangerie!

The next morning we decided it would be a good day to hit up a few museums. So our first stop was the Musée de l'Orangerie where Monet's huge Water Lilies are kept.
The bus stop near our hotel had a grand view of the Pantheon.
Morning Seine.
We got off the bus and crossed the River and made our way to the Tuileries Garden, where the Musée de l'Orangerie is.

Place de la Concorde and the Luxor Obelisk.

Place de l'Odéon

Right in front of the Odéon Theatre was an outdoor café that supplied nice rest from our walking.

North Side of Jardin du Luxembourg

We exit the park and walk around the north side of the park as the sun continues to set.
There we are in the reflection.

Love the sun at this position.

Exploring Paris

After visiting Notre Dame, we just walked around and explored. It's nice to walk a little bit after being cooped up in a plane for nine hours.

Arrive in Paris

We arrived in Paris at around 9:30 AM on March 28 2012. This the street outside our hotel as we try to find somewhere to eat.

Signage in foreign countries will always be awesome to me. Don't always know what they are saying, but that doesn't matter.

Le Pré Verre. Here's where we had our first Euro lunch. We ate outside over by where the waiter is.

Dallas Woman's Forum

On my way home tonight, I stopped and took some pictures of The Dallas Woman's Forum, whatever that is. As I was putting my camera back into my car, these old ladies came out of the building and asked if I owned my car. Then they told me they thought I was rummaging around a car I didn't own. I felt weird, so I just said, "Nope. It's mine." And got in my car and drove off.

Irving Convention Center

On the way home from Westlake, I decided to stop at the brand new Irving Convention Center, which is actually in Las Colinas. I was freelancing nearby here when it was under construction, and I always wanted to take a look around. Here was my chance.
